Fix #11... Allie is Back!

I was so excited to have my usual stylist back! She knows me so well!!

I LOVED that I got 3 dresses to choose from! That's exactly what I wanted. My brother was getting married in 2 weeks, and I had a dress to wear to the wedding, but not one for the rehearsal dinner!

First up though was this BRIXON IVY Jarred Lace Detail Cap-Sleeve Blouse.

Allie sent it because I love lace and unique tops. While it was unique, and the color was ok, it was not my cup of tea. I didn't like the frayed lace. I normally go for the normal, "fancy" lace. I also didn't like the V of the lace.

Returned
Next I tried the Margaret M Emer High Waisted Cropped Trouser.

I didn't expect it, but I actually really liked them. They have no zipper, much like J Crew Pixie Pants. However, as comfy as they were, they had no pockets. Pockets are essential for a teacher! I decided they were a maybe.

Next up was this Pixley Bowen Textured Top Dress.

Allie said she included this because I love sparkly things.... but I'm not sure what was so sparkly! I didn't think I would like this dress looking at the picture or the dress. However, it was super comfy on, and I really liked it a lot!

It's the perfect length for school, too. I ended up wearing it the following day, because it got warm! It felt like it was missing something though, so I added my favorite flower waist belt.

Another perk of Stitch Fix is adding things from my closet as I try the pieces on! Definitely a Keeper :)

Next up was this Rue Sleeveless Colorblock Lace Detail Dress by Mystree.

I LOVE lace, which is why Allie picked this dress out for me. However, I am not a big fan of colorblock pieces. I tried it on though, both with the belt and without. I was not a fan.

Finally was this Grace V-Neck Dress by Collective Concepts.

First off, I LOVED the hot pink color! I couldn't wait to try it on!

I loved the interesting neckline! Also, Allie mentioned that it would go great with rose gold, which she noticed from my pinterest is my favorite metal. So to try it out.... :)

Sure enough, my brand-spankin' new rose gold engagement ring looks great with the hot pink :)

All in all, I decided to keep Grace V-Neck Dress and the Pixley Bowen Textured Top Dress. I ended up wearing the Grace dress to the rehearsal dinner. I didn't get a good picture of me in the dress but... here is one of my fiancé and I!
